All of the outdoor rinks are flooded every winter and maintained by the City of Flin Flon. However, users typically have to clear the ice rinks from snow themselves after a snowfall.

Located just behind the Hapnot Collegiate field, the Flin Flon skatepark includes ramps, quarter pipes, rails, and stair sets that help skateboarders learn and practice the fundamentals of skateboarding.

The Joe Brain Petting Zoo is open from June to August (weather permitting) and is maintained by seasonal staff. This unique, seasonal park hosts several animals to interact with, as well as a playground and picnic area.
